Neoclassical Drawing Room
- The south-east bay rises higher than the room, & has a glazed roof as well as high windows, creating a conservatory-like space.
- The piers have engaged half-columns on the interior, the convex form facilitating the visual flow of space to the garden beyond, as well as adding a whimsical, slightly theatrical flourish.
- The interior of the bay would be faced with cut ashlar, to emphasise its quasi-external character.
