- The garden is designed as a series of spaces of differing character that radiate around the house:
- To the west an area of lawn and trees, creating a park-like feel, faces the entrance. To the south-west, overlooked by the Drawing Room, is a flower garden, with borrowed views of the landscape over a ha-ha. To the south is a paved court/terrace, which opens off all the main rooms. To the east the kitchen overlooks an orchard and kitchen garden.
