- The front of the house would be enlivened by the creation of a pool which would bounce the southern sun up and into the house; a number of rooms would directly overlook the pool, & the entrance path would bridge over the pool’s inlet.
- A small area of classic formal Arts & Crafts style garden, with herbaceous plants, topiary & a small spluttering fountain, would relate to the west loggia.
