- To the south-west of the house is a formal parterre, with mixed roses and herbaceous borders.
- To the south, and accessible from all the principal rooms, is a paved court, for use as an external room during clement weather. Beyond are a formal canal & an area of informal garden.
- To the east are a kitchen-garden & an orchard.
