- This is a design for bathroom for a country house, for a space that retained fragmentary remains of reused early-17th century panelling.
- The best of the panelling would be placed on the right-hand wall; the remainder would be covered.
- The design of the bathroom is inspired by the Milanese architect Piero Portoluppi, & particularly by his work at the Villa Necchi Campiglio (1932-5).
